Contract

Nannies who are employed permanently have a one-year contract. The contact is between the Employer and Employee, it should be agreed, signed and dated by both parties. A copy should be kept by the Employer, Employee and the Agency, Bluebell Nannies.

A contract should include the following details:

  • (1) Name of Employer of Address (“the Employer”)
  • (2) Name of the Employee of Address (“the Nanny”)

It is agreed that the Employer will employ the Nanny on the following terms and conditions:

1. Employment Duties and Place of Work
2. Employment Commencement Date
3. The Nanny's Duties and Responsibilities
4. Hours of Work, Babysitting and Overtime
5. Remuneration
6. Meals
7. Holidays
8. Transport and Telephone
9. Sickness and Sick Pay
10. Medical Examinations
11. Maternity Pay and Leave
12. Compassionate Leave and Time off for Family Emergencies
13. Pension
14. Confidentiality
15. Termination
16. Disciplinary and Capability Procedure
17. Grievance Procedure
18. General
19. Signature of Employer and date
20. Signature of Employee and date
