- Level 3 qualifications are advanced level.
- Level 2 qualifications are intermediate level.
- Level 1 qualifications are foundation level.
Level 3 Qualifications
- CACHE Diploma in Nursery Nursing (NNEB)
- BTEC National Diploma in Early Years
- Qualifications Level 3(NVQ's) in Early Years and Education.
- Certificate in Childminding Practice (NCMA)
Some Nannies do not hold a childcare qualification but may come with a number of years experience. Bluebell Nannies consider experience as a valuable asset and will register nannies that do not hold a formal qualification but qualify with experience and at least three excellent references.
Level 1 or 2 qualifications
- CACHE Foundation Award in Caring for Children - 1 year, full-time, level 1 course.
- CACHE Certificate in Child Care and Education- 1 year, full-time, level 2 course.
- City and Guilds Progression Award In Early Years Care and Education – level 2 course, 120 hours of practical childcare work to complete assignments.
- Introducing Childminding Practice- first unit of certificate in childminding practice. A 12-hour course forms an introduction to childcare in a home setting.
Temporary Nannies
Our temporary Nannies will have at least 2 years experience and most nannies will hold a relevant childcare qualifiaction.
